Dear Parents and Families of Doswell E. Brooks Elementary School,
At Doswell E. Brooks Elementary School, my goal is to provide all of our students with a wealth of knowledge, skills, and support to help them successfully navigate the virtual learning platforms utilized by Prince George’s County Public Schools during the 2026–2027 school year.
Research consistently demonstrates that parental involvement is a key factor in a child’s overall success. Children whose parents are actively involved in their education often experience greater academic achievement and are more motivated when their parents demonstrate an interest in their learning. When schools and families work together as partners, students benefit tremendously—academically, socially, and emotionally.
For these reasons, it is very important that we continue to work together as a team to support the success and well-being of every student.
