Dear Falcons Families,

We hope you have enjoyed a wonderful summer filled with rest, relaxation, and memorable moments with loved ones. Whether you traveled, explored new hobbies, or enjoyed time at home, we hope it was a season of joy and renewal.

We are so excited to welcome our students back to Oaklands for another amazing school year! The first day of school for all students is Tuesday, August 26, 2025. To help students feel prepared and confident, we will host Orientation Day on Monday, August 25, 2025. Please see the Parent Resources page for more information.

In addition, returning students in Grades 1–5 are welcome to Sneak-a-Peek at their classrooms anytime between 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. on August 25.

Our theme for this year remains EmPOWERing Our Students to SOAR to Excellence. This is more than a slogan; it’s our promise. We are committed to creating an engaging, supportive, and inspiring learning environment where every student can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Over the summer, our Building Services team has worked hard to make sure our school is clean, safe, and ready for learning. Our office staff has been busy enrolling new students, preparing classrooms, and ensuring everything is in place for a smooth start to the school year. We are ready and eager to see our hallways filled with the smiles, laughter, and energy of our students once again.

At Oaklands Elementary, we believe that education is a team effort, and your involvement plays a vital role in student success. We look forward to partnering with you through family events, volunteer opportunities, and school celebrations throughout the year.

Let’s make 2025–2026 a year of growth, achievement, and excellence for every student. We cannot wait to see you on Monday, August 25, for Orientation Day and on Tuesday, August 26, for the first day of school. Please carefully review the important back-to-school information Welcome Letter
