Key Chromebook Updates
- Tiered Fee System: Financial responsibilities for lost or damaged devices follow the official PGCPS Tiered Fees structure.
- Lost Chromebooks incur a $200 replacement fee.
- Additional charges apply for damaged screens, missing chargers, or intentional vandalism.

Immediate Evaluation & Repair: If a device is damaged, students are required to submit it immediately for evaluation and repair to Mrs. Crocheron in the Oxon Hill High School Media Center during lunch.

Care & Handling: Students are expected to handle their devices with care, avoid dropping them, prevent placing heavy objects on top, and use proper protection during transport.
Chromebook Distribution
For rising 9th graders and new students of all grade levels without a PGCPS device assigned to them, Chromebooks will be distributed on the following dates:
- August 20: 3-6pm prior to Open House
- August 24: 1-2pm after Orientation for non-busriders
- August 25-28: during lunches
⚠️ Required Action: In order to receive a new device, each student must return a signed copy of the agreement below. Devices will not be issued without both the student and parent/guardian signatures.
