Open House & Orientation

Welcome to Oxon Hill High School!!!

Families of all rising ninth graders and new students are cordially invited to an Open House event on Thursday, August 20, 2026 from 6-8:00pm. During this event, families will have the opportunity to tour the building and participate in an orientation session in order to receive information regarding Oxon Hill High School contacts and resources, a typical day in the life of a Clipper, and other important resources to assist families as they support our scholars.

Additionally, on Monday, August 24, 2026, Oxon Hill High School is excited to welcome all rising ninth graders and new students of all grades to participate in New Student Orientation from 9:30-1:15pm. Students who participate are expected to attend wearing their school uniform. No other materials are required; breakfast and lunch will be available at no cost to students. The purpose of this event is to allow administrators and teachers to share key components and expectations of the high school program with students and also to provide students with an opportunity to meet their teachers, start the formation of peer and teacher relationships, conduct a partial walk-through of their schedule and participate in school spirit activities.
