Welcome back to another school year at Paint Branch ES!! 欢迎来到新学年!! We are excited to welcome all of our students and families back to another AWESOME school year!!
The first day of school for students is Tuesday, August 25, 2026. The student day is from 8:30 am-2:45 pm. Students can be dropped off at 8:10 am. Please be sure not to drop off before this time to ensure supervision of your child.
Please update your contact information in ParentVue. Class Lists and Student Schedules will be available soon in your ParentVUE account. Student transportation information can also be found in ParentVue. For assistance in gaining access to ParentVue, see the link below:

Upcoming Dates
- 8/24 - New Student Orientation:
- Pre-K 8:30-9:15 Please print, complete, and bring with you to the orientation: Child Interest Checklist English/Child Interest Checklist Spanish
- Kindergarten 9:30-10:15
- 1st-5th Grade New Students 10:30-11:15
- 8/25 - First Day of School for Students
- 9/1 - Back to School Night 6:00 pm-8:00 pm
- 9/7 - Labor Day- School Closed
Student day/Student drop off
- Student day is from 8:30 am-2:45 pm. Students can not be dropped off prior to 8:10 am. There are no adults/staff on duty prior to 8:10 am.
- Student Drop Off 8:10-8:25 am.
- Breakfast is available for all students from 8:10-8:25 am in their classrooms.
- The instruction starts at 8:30 am so please be on time. After 8:30, you will have to park in the parking lot and walk your student to main office to get a tardy slip. Do NOT park in the bus loop.
- Parents can drop students off at the Gym at 8:10 am. Staff members will be on duty to direct students safely inside the gym. Students who arrive on a school bus will be dropped off in the bus loop. Staff members will be on duty to safely escort students inside.
- Dismissal begins at 2:45 pm. Walkers and Car Riders will be dismissed from the Gym.
- No Early Dismissals will be allowed after 2:00 pm.
- Parents picking up students will need to sign your student out each day. Bus riders and Before & After Care will be dismissed as buses arrive.
- Please follow the red arrows so the school buses can come in safely to the bus loop.
- During dismissal time, the road in front of the gate to the gym entrance will be blocked for safety reasons. Parents, please park your cars and walk to the gym to pick your child up.
Attendance Policy
-This year we have a schoolwide goal to improve our attendance and we need your help! Please strive to send your child to school every day. We understand emergencies and illnesses happen so please see our policy/instruction for when these occur. Attendance Policy Link
Uniform policy
- PBES is a Mandatory uniform School. The daily uniform is navy blue khaki bottoms & white collared/golf shirt. Closed-toed shoes must be worn daily. PBES will have different themed dress days throughout the school year.

Transportation
- In light of the continued shortage of bus drivers regionally and nationally, we ask for your patience during the first weeks of school. Please update phone numbers, emails and emergency contact info. To view your bus stop, use our StopFinder tool. Transportation questions can be submitted online.
- Before and After-School Child Care is conveniently located next door at the Lakeland College Park Community Center. More information here on the website.
School Lunch Account Sign Up
- Lunch Applications can be completed online at Myschoolbucks.com. Parents are encouraged to complete the lunch application to determine eligibility for meal benefits and other school-based programs.
