Uniforms

Bottoms

  • Khaki-colored pants, skirts, or shorts
  • No leggings, ripped pants or sweatpants

Tops

  • Plain polo shirts, either short sleeve or long sleeve (NO T-shirts). 
  • Approved Colors by Grade level (please see SchoolMAX for grade level)
    • Class of 2027 (9th Grade)  - White
    • Class of 2026 (10th Grade)  - White
    • Class of 2025 (11th Grade) - Black
    • Class of 2024 (12th Grade) - Black

Student ID Badge

  • A student ID badge must be worn at all times, suspended from the student's neck on a breakaway class color lanyard. NO EXCEPTIONS!

Outerwear

  • Black, Green, or White HOODLESS sweaters, sweatshirts, or jackets.  Outwear can not have any inappropriate language or designs.

Headgear

  • Headgear is allowed for religious or medical purposes only.
  • HOODS may not be worn in building.

Shoes

  • Closed-toe shoes only
  • No CROCS, flip flops or slippers

Book Bags

  • Only clear bookbags/tote bags are allowed in the building. 
  • Students may carry PGCPS-issued Chromebook cases.

Uniform Violations

These styles and fabrics are NOT permitted:

  • Visible labels or logos on any article of clothing are allowed (ONLY PHS logos)
  • Stretch, tight or form-fitting clothing
  • Baggy slacks
  • Jeans or denim
  • Hooded clothing
  • Cropped shirts
  • Crocs, slippers, flip-flops, mules or open-toes
  • "Creative" alterations to any clothing (cut-out holes, rips etc.)
  • Sunglasses
  • Tank tops and muscle shirts
  • Clothing with vulgar language, obscene pictures, weapons, drugs/alcohol or drug paraphernalia and tobacco products
  • See-through clothing
  • Identifiable gang/crew clothing or paraphernalia
