Program Description: The PGCPS Online Campus for grades 7-12 is an innovative specialty program for students who desire to complete their academic coursework in a virtual environment while still accessing the athletic and extracurricular activities of their boundary/home school. The Online Campus is very different from a traditional school environment. All elective courses and some core courses are taught in an entirely asynchronous format through Maryland Department of Education approved online learning vendors. Additionally, PGCPS teachers provide online synchronous instruction for most core courses through a limited program specific course catalog. This is not a program for students concerned about in-person learning due to Covid-19. This is a program for students who want to make online learning their approach to education for the duration of their k-12 career. Students must have a minimum of GPA of 2.5 and an exceptional attendance record to be eligible. Students must also maintain a GPA of 2.5 while enrolled in the PGCPS Online Campus.

Who Can Apply
- Rising 7th- 12th Graders
- Students must have a strong attendance record for the 2023-2024 school year to be eligible for the Online Campus. Students identified as chronically absent (absent 18 or more school days while enrolled at school) during SY23-24 will not be eligible for Online Campus.
- Students must earn a minimum GPA of a 2.5 for the 2023-2024 school year.
- Students must be working towards a high school diploma.
