On behalf of the Suitland High School Administration, Teachers and Staff, welcome to Suitland High School where our goal is to have a great and productive journey towards Academic Excellence each school year.

We are continuing our “ARE YOU READY” campaign. We pose this question to scholars every morning. We asked them to be ready to Be Kind, Make Good Decisions and to Learn. We will continue this and hopefully our scholars will continue to rise to our expectations. As for our staff, we continue to be ready to provide an environment conducive to teaching and learning, find innovative ways to educate our scholars, while making adjustments in this ever evolving society. We continue to provide our students with the opportunity to achieve both academically and socially, while participating in educational experiences that will enrich and develop them into well-rounded learners. Ultimately we want to ensure our scholars are prepared for College or a Career upon their graduation.

The only way we can achieve these things is to have a strong parent and school partnership. I encourage you to learn the members of your scholars grade level team, attend monthly meetings, reach out to their teachers and monitor their progress/attendance using SchoolMAX. I also encourage you to join the PTSA. We at Suitland believe that each and every scholar is capable of achieving at the highest level. We will continue to provide the support needed to ensure that every scholar is “Ready” to reach Academic Excellence!!!
