Celebrating the Class of 2026 at CMIT Academy North Public Charter School

The Class of 2026 at CMIT Academy North Public Charter School has reached extraordinary heights in academics, leadership, athletics, innovation, and service.

This year’s graduating class earned an astounding $65,652,088 in scholarships, including $27.3 million in four-year scholarship awards, demonstrating the exceptional talent and determination of CMIT North students.

The Class of 2026 also distinguished itself through college readiness and career preparation. Twenty-three seniors are graduating with an Associate’s Degree in Information Technology, giving them a significant head start in the fields of technology and engineering.

Service and leadership remained central to the CMIT North experience. Collectively, seniors completed more than 10,833 service-learning hours, averaging 75 hours per student and reflecting a strong commitment to giving back to their communities.

Several students earned national and statewide recognition for their remarkable accomplishments:

Academic and cultural achievement also stood out across the graduating class. Suisyola Fitzpatrick-Murphy earned the Maryland Seal of Biliteracy in American Sign Language (ASL), celebrating multilingual excellence and communication skills.

Athletically, CMIT North seniors led both the volleyball and boys basketball teams to the state semifinals this year, showcasing teamwork, resilience, and school pride on the court.

The accomplishments of the CMIT Academy North Class of 2026 represent innovation, perseverance, and excellence at every level. These graduates leave prepared to lead in college classrooms, engineering labs, military service, industries, and communities around the world.
