About Digital and Visual Communications

TV 96/38 is your eye inside Prince George's County Public Schools. Run by highly-experienced broadcast professionals, the cable station produces hundreds of hours of original programming spotlighting students, schools, curriculum, arts, athletics, policies and more. Educational programs aid in achievement for students in all areas and provide staff development and training for teachers and other employees. Channel 96/38 is also your first stop for weather and emergency school closings.

Do you have an upcoming school event that might be of interest to viewers throughout Prince George's County? If so, we would like to know about it! Your event could be a teachable moment, inspiring other schools to replicate your efforts. Fill out the Digital Communications Information Form to request your event be covered. Please note that not all requests can be fulfilled, but know that we appreciate you alerting us and encourage you to keep doing so for others events throughout the year.

This office also assists schools with television studios.

If you have any questions, please email digital.visual@pgcps.org.
