Eleanor Roosevelt High School operates on a schedule with both single and double-period classes and four lunch periods. The regular schedule includes eight periods, plus a zero period at the start of the day to help seniors, juniors, and sophomores take required AP courses. Single periods meet for 45 minutes, while double periods meet for 95 minutes. This flexible schedule supports academic growth and contributes to the school’s strong performance in Advanced Placement testing, dual enrollment, earning the Seal of Biliteracy, statewide assessments, and post-secondary success in college and careers.
