Dear Students, Parents, and Guardians,

Welcome back! I hope this letter finds you refreshed, rejuvenated, and filled with anticipation for the upcoming school year. As we prepare to embark on a new academic adventure, I wanted to take a moment to share my heartfelt thoughts and excitement.

First and foremost, I would like to extend a warm welcome to all our new students and families joining the Fort Foote Elementary community. We are thrilled to have you become a part of our close-knit family, and we are confident that you will quickly feel at home in our supportive and nurturing environment. To our returning students, welcome back! It's been a pleasure watching you grow and thrive academically and personally. I am eager to witness the continued progress and accomplishments that await you in the coming year.

Please join me in welcoming our new Assistant Principal, John Agnew, who will be working alongside me this school year. Mr. Agnew brings a deep commitment to student learning, a collaborative spirit and a strong belief in the potential of every child. I look forward to to the ways we will lead together to support each of you and continue to move Fort Foote forward.

I want to assure all parents and guardians that we remain committed to providing a safe and enriching educational experience for our students. At Fort Foote, we believe in nurturing a love for learning and empowering students to reach their full potential. This year, we will continue to enhance our curriculum and instructional practices to provide a well-rounded education that encompasses both academic rigor and holistic development. We will strive to create engaging classroom environments that foster creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

To facilitate open communication and collaboration between the school and families, we will continue to utilize various platforms such as Class Dojo, monthly newsletters and calendars. We encourage you to take an active role in your child's education by attending school events, volunteering, and maintaining regular communication with their teachers and support staff. I would also like to take this opportunity to express my deepest gratitude to our incredible faculty and staff. Their dedication, expertise, and passion are the bedrock of our school's success. Together, we will continue to create an inclusive and supportive learning community that inspires our students to become lifelong learners and responsible global citizens.

In conclusion, I am honored and privileged to continue to serve as the principal of Fort Foote, affectionately called, #BestSchoolEver. I eagerly await the start of the new academic year and look forward to building positive relationships with each and every one of you. 1. Arrives to school on time each day.
2. Completes all homework assignments given by teachers.
3. Reads daily to develop a love for reading and to improve literacy skills.
4. Shares school experiences with you so that you are aware of his/her school life.
5. Informs you if he/she needs additional support in any area or subject.
