Parents

We believe parents are our partners and aim to work together to support our students!  Below is pertinent information for parents.

* PGCPS Mask Mandate Update - Effective September 6 2022, Dr. Monica Goldson, PGCPS CEO, lifted the mandatory mask policy for all PGCPS schools and facilities.   Individuals have the option to continue to wear masks, however, it is not required.  We will continue to closely monitor health data and the spread of COVID-19.  Parents, please note, we no longer have masks available in the Main Office.  If you want your child to wear a mask, please be sure to send them to school with one and a back-up mask, in case their mask is broken or becomes soiled.

* Connect with our PTA - Greenbelt Elementary has an active and supportive Parent Teacher Association (PTA).  All parents and guardians are encouraged to join and get involved.  Please visit their site for more information - https://sites.google.com/view/gespta

The PTA is here for you!  If you have any questions, feel free to contact them directly at GreenbeltesPTA@gmail.com.

* Friday Newsletters - Each Friday during the school year, our teachers send a weekly newsletter with instructional highlights and important reminders to parents.  In order to receive the newsletter, please make sure to share a current email address with your child’s teacher.  This is a great way to stay informed about what is taking place in your child's class!
