About Our Counseling Center

Hello, High Bridge Students and parents! I’m Ms. Miller, the Professional School Counselor. I have served as an elementary school counselor for over 20 years.  I am so honored and blessed to be in this rewarding profession. As a professional school counselor I perform the following roles in order to manage/promote emotional/social domains in academics, careers and personal/social domains.

Professional school counselors must provide information/resources to students, parents, teachers, administration, community members regarding post-secondary options including college. 

Counseling Center Services and Support

• Individual Counseling
• Small Group Counseling
• Large Group Counseling (Classroom Lessons)
• Attend and participate in academic intervention meetings
• Observe student with in various assigned classrooms
• Consult & collaborate with parents, teachers, administration, pupil personnel worker & students
• Respond to crisis or emergency situation
• Provide resources to parents on variety of issues
• Coordinate school-wide awareness programs
