Dear Judge Sylvania Woods Elementary School Families,

It is with great pride and gratitude that I welcome you to a new school year! This marks my tenth year serving the incredible JSW community—seven years as Assistant Principal and now entering my third year as your proud Principal. Judge Sylvania Woods Elementary School is not just where I lead—it is where my heart resides.

At JSW, we remain dedicated to fostering a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment where every child can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Your child’s well-being and academic success continue to be our top priorities. Our committed team of educators strives to nurture a love of learning, encourage personal growth, and help every student reach their fullest potential.

This school year, we will build upon our strong foundation of excellence. We will continue to cultivate a school culture grounded in high expectations, inclusivity, unity, and Tiger Pride. From rigorous academics to enriching extracurricular activities, we are dedicated to educating the whole child, developing their strengths, character, and talents. We are also placing a renewed focus on the importance of improved attendance—ensuring students are present every day is critical to their learning, growth, and overall success.
