Things to Do

Transitional Registration

Pre-K and 5th Grade Families must complete Transitional Enrollment. It is a requirement for all students transitioning schools to submit an updated proof of residency. This mandatory requirement includes Pre-K transitioning to Kindergarten and 5th Grades transitioning to Middle School. Go to https://pgcpsmdc.scriborder.com/ and select Transition Registration. If you have any questions email shalon.grace@pgpcs.org or 301-808-5977.

Chromebook Collection

KES will collect student chromebooks, chargers, and cases for the summer. Devices will be reissued in the fall. In accordance with PGCPS Student Device Usage Agreement, parents will be responsible for fees associated if there are damages to the device or for charger replacement if the charger is damaged or missing. This process will begin after the Dibels and i-Ready testing windows (towards the end of May). Students who are attending a PGCPS Summer Program (for example ESY for Special Education students) will be re-issued a device to use for the summer program. In the coming weeks all dates and details will be provided by your child's teacher. Beginning Thursday, May 23, we will ask that chromebooks, chargers, and cases no longer be sent home with the students and remain in the classrooms for student use for the remainder of the year.
