Students in Grades 3-5 will take MCAP (Maryland Comprehensive Assessment Program) for Reading English Language Arts (RELA) and Math starting Tuesday, April 14 and continuing through May. Specific testing schedules will be provided by your child's teacher. Below is a list of helpful strategies to support students during testing.
⏱️ Arrive to school on time and come to school every day. Students absent or tardy on a testing day will participate in make-up testing.
🥞 Eat a substantial breakfast in the morning that will give him/her the necessary energy and alertness for participation in the testing.
💤 Get a good night’s sleep the night before each testing day.
📵 Please remind your students, that during each testing session, all cell phones and personal electronic devices must be turned off and secured.
🌟 Please encourage your child to do his/her best!
