Welcome Letter

Greetings Non-Traditional Program South Community,

I am honored to introduce myself as the newly appointed Coordinating Supervisor of the Non-Traditional Program South. I have been an educator in Prince George's County Public Schools for twenty eighty years. During my tenure, I have worked as a professional school counselor at Northwestern High School, Principal for nine years at Oxon Hill Middle School and most recently assistant principal at Hyattsville Middle School. I am excited to join the team of dedicated educators at the Non-Traditional Program South and am committed to serve not only our fellow educators but especially our students and families.

We will continue to guide our work from the knowledge that “Every Student Matters and Every Moment Counts.” Through a restorative culture, service, strong relationships and positive energy we will support our students with an individual educational plan that will support their interests and academic goals. We will ensure that every student is not only working towards graduating from high school but is equipped for a productive future after high school is completed.

Our non-traditional program will leverage all of our district resources in supporting our students' social emotional and instructional needs. In addition, the expectation of being college and career ready will be supported by our Career and Technical Educational programs.
