Spanish Immersion

About Our Full Spanish Immersion Program

Overlook Full Spanish Immersion School offers a rigorous K–5 full Spanish immersion program. Students learn the same grade-level curriculum as other PGCPS students, with Spanish serving as the primary language of instruction for core subjects, including Spanish Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, and Health.

Our program is designed to develop bilingualism, biliteracy, academic achievement, and intercultural understanding. Beginning in Grade 2, students also receive English Language Arts instruction while continuing to learn core academic content in Spanish.
