About us
Welcome to Overlook Full Spanish Immersion School
Overlook Full Spanish Immersion School is a vibrant and welcoming PreK–5 learning community committed to academic excellence, bilingualism, biliteracy, and global citizenship. Our Prekindergarten program follows the traditional PGCPS early childhood model and is not part of the Spanish immersion program. Full Spanish immersion begins in Kindergarten and continues through Grade 5 within a nurturing, rigorous, and culturally responsive learning environment.
Proudly recognized as a Four-Star School on the 2025 Maryland Report Card, Overlook celebrates the collective efforts of our students, educators, families, and community. This distinction reflects our continued commitment to student achievement, growth, attendance, and overall school success.
Our diverse team of educators represents a rich variety of Spanish-speaking cultures and communities. Through daily exposure to different accents, expressions, traditions, and cultural perspectives, students develop authentic language skills and a deeper appreciation for the richness and diversity of the Spanish-speaking world.

Doors open at 9:00 a.m. Breakfast is available from 9:00–9:30 a.m., and instruction begins at 9:30 a.m. Dismissal procedures begin at 3:35 p.m.
