Library Program
The Oxon Hill Elementary School Library is a resource center that is available for students, staff and parents
throughout the school day. The purpose of the library is to support and enrich school wide learning.

All Oxon Hill Elementary K - 5 students are scheduled to come to the library once a week. During their
scheduled library time students will:
- Work on developing research skills
- Explore computerized and traditional sources of information
- Be introduced to books they will enjoy
- Check out books & magazines for recreational and curricular use
Students are encouraged to use the library resources to strengthen literacy skills and explore literature.
