Class of 2027 Parent Night

Parkdale High School invites all Class of 2027 parents and guardians to Parent Night on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. in the Parkdale High School Cafeteria. This important evening will provide families with valuable information and resources to help our scholars prepare for a successful senior year and life after high school. Topics will include graduation requirements, academic expectations, college and career planning, class packages, prom, senior year activities, and important next steps. Families will also have an opportunity to hear from school leadership, counselors, and support staff and get answers to their questions. Your partnership plays an important role in our students' success, and we look forward to working together to make the Class of 2027's senior year successful, memorable, and focused on a bright future. Class of 2027 Yearbook Information

The Class of 2027 Yearbook will capture the people, stories, memories, and moments that make your senior year unforgettable. Seniors and families are encouraged to stay informed about senior portraits, yearbook deadlines, announcements, and other important information throughout the school year. 📸 Senior Portraits: The first portrait session will be held Saturday, September 19, 2026, from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM in the Parkdale High School Small Gym. Students should reserve their appointment in advance. 📱 Stay Connected: Follow @parkdalelair on Instagram and TikTok for yearbook news, reminders, and updates. Fall Wellness Festival

Join Parkdale High School and DuVal High School for a refreshing Fall Wellness Festival on Saturday, October 3! Disconnect from technology, reconnect with nature, and enjoy a day filled with food, vendors, mindfulness, yoga, walking, flag football, and more. All ages and fitness levels are welcome. Registration is required to participate in flag football.

Service Learning Hours

All students must complete a minimum of 24 community service hours to meet graduation requirements. Click here or scan the QR code to complete your Community Service Hours Log and learn how to submit your hours for verification.

Uniform Information

Parkdale High School students must follow the mandatory uniform policy each school day. Please review the complete requirements for uniforms, student IDs, outerwear, shoes, head coverings, and clear book bags.

Class of 2027 Senior Pictures

Seniors, it's time to get your senior portrait taken! CADY will be at Parkdale High School on Friday, October 16, 2026, and Friday, November 20, 2026, with portrait sessions taking place in the Small Gym. Students must schedule an appointment in advance through CADY.com. Don't wait until the last minute to reserve your session and ensure your senior portrait is ready for the yearbook. Choose the date that works best for you and book your appointment today!

Parkdale High School Students Earn Recognition at the PGCPS STEM Fair

Several Parkdale High School students earned recognition at the 78th Annual Prince George’s County STEM Fair for their outstanding research projects in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Students received awards and special honors in fields ranging from microbiology and environmental science to bioinformatics and plant science. Their success reflects months of hard work, innovation, and dedication, with support and guidance from science teacher Michele Siebert.

Student Parking Application

All students who wish to park on campus must complete a parking application. You must use your PGCPS email when applying. Approved applicants will receive a parking decal, which must be displayed on the rearview mirror or dashboard at all times. Vehicles without a decal may be ticketed, towed, or have parking privileges revoked. The cost is $25 and must be paid through MySchoolBucks, but only after your application has been approved.
