    Picking up meals, digital devices and instructional materials for distance learning is permitted under Gov. Hogan's stay-at-home order (Sect IIb(iv)).

      I hope this message finds you well. The COVID-19 pandemic has been a shock to all of us.  During these unprecedented times, as you know we have had to temporarily close our schools and offices. We want to work on a plan to provide further support our scholars and in doing so needed to assess student needs related to the use of technology devices and internet availability if there is a need to continue learning in an online environment.  Please take a few minutes to complete the survey located at In order for us to create this plan in a timely fashion, please submit your responses by 11:00 AM, March 25, 2020.  We  appreciate all of your questions and concerns and everything that you have done during the past week to support our scholars while at home.  (Please submit a survey for each of your elementary students)

      La pandemia COVID-19 nos ha tomado por sorpresa a todos. Durante este momento sin precedentes, hemos tenido que cerrar temporalmente nuestras escuelas y oficinas. Queremos trabajar en un plan para brindar más apoyo a nuestros estudiantes y, para hacerlo, necesitamos evaluar las necesidades de los estudiantes en relación con el uso de dispositivos tecnológicos y la disponibilidad del servicio de internet, en caso de que fuera necesario continuar aprendiendo en un entorno digital.     • Important Parent Information Reminders
      SCHOOL HOURS: School begins promptly at 7:45 a.m. and ends at 1:55 p.m. Remember…in order to receive the full benefit of the instructional program at William Paca Elementary School it is important to be present and on time every day. For the safety of our students, children are not permitted to arrive at school before 7:30 a.m unless they are having breakfast. An adult must remain with non-breakfast eaters until the doors open at 7:30 a.m. This year, William Paca has been selected to participate in the Maryland Meals Program where all of our students receive free breakfast daily. Breakfast will be served from 7:25am - 7:40am. To assist our cafeteria staff in being prepared to start lunch on time, the breakfast line must close promptly at 7:40am. All students arriving to school late other than late buses must eat breakfast at home. Students should never be dropped off at the school prior to 7:25 am.
      AM Class 7:45 a.m.—1:45 p.m. (includes breakfast and snack) Student MUST live in the William Paca Elementary School Boundary.
      Arrival and Entry Time for students is 7:30 am.  Dismissal starts at 1:45.  There will be no early dismissal after 1:10 PM.
