Welcome

Greetings Allenwood Elementary School Family!

Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year!  Allenwood is very excited about the return of our scholars.  This year Allenwood ES will R.O.A.R. with a focus on building stronger relationships as a community, emphasizing rigorous instruction, and preparing students to be college and career ready. Our goal is to have all students reading on or above grade level.  The collaborative efforts of parents, teachers, community leaders, and the school system as the governing body, students will cultivate a high quality of character and the superior work ethic that will guide them to be the global leaders of tomorrow.

The Allenwood staff and I have worked diligently this summer to improve the academic program.  Please look for enhancements in the number of field trips, the quality of instruction, improved school communication, and the enforcement of the mandatory uniform policy. Our dynamic teachers are ready to R.O.A.R.!

This year you will see many new faces joining the WILDCAT staff.  We strongly encourage and welcome family members to join us as we ROAR with the community at our Open House on Friday, August 25th from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.  Please come out to meet ALL members of our Allenwood community. Help your child to make friends before school starts. There will be food, giveaways, and fun! Allenwood items will be on sale! This event will be held at Allenwood Elementary School. Please check our website for more details!

As key members of the Allenwood Wildcats family, we share the responsibility for our children's success.  We ask that as parents, you embrace our core values and R.O.A.R with us!
