HELPFUL HINTS FOR PRE-KINDERGARTEN SUCCESS
- Practice writing first and last name
- Practice forming/writing letters of the alphabet (Uppercase & Lowercase)
- Recognize letters and sounds
- Practice counting objects up to 10
- Practice classifying and sorting objects by characteristics
- Identifying shapes and characteristics of shapes
- Read to your child everyday for at least 20-30 minutes
- Review school rules and safety procedures
- Check your child's backpack daily for homework, notes, forms and other important information
