General James Gholson Middle Shool Uniform Policy

All students must adhere to PGCPS’ dress code policy. The dress code policy is intended to promote student appropriateness and consistency in the learning environment. The following dress code will be implemented for the 2025-2026 school year.

Tops: Polo shirts according to assigned grade level color

• 
• Sixth Grade: Gray
• Seventh Grade: Royal Blue
• Eight Grade: Yellow

Bottoms: All students are expected to wear khaki bottoms.
Sweaters/Sweatshirts and Light Jackets: All students may wear sweaters, sweatshirts, and light jackets in the color\pertaining to their grade level exclusively.
Any overlay (item worn over the uniform shirt) must be the same color as the uniform shirt.

*Hooded overlays are not allowed*

GJGMS club/organization and spirit shirts are acceptable on designated days
