Dear Greyhound Families,
Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year!
I am truly honored and excited to join the Greenbelt Elementary School community as your new Principal. As we begin this new school year, I would like to extend a heartfelt welcome to our new and returning students and families. We are eager to begin a year filled with learning, creativity, growth, and meaningful experiences.
My vision for Greenbelt Elementary will foster a learning community where students feel valued, supported, and inspired to succeed. Through engaging, rigorous instruction and meaningful relationships, we will empower students to think critically, solve problems, embrace challenges with confidence, and achieve their highest potential. Together, we will build a culture rooted in respect, collaboration, and high expectations, while celebrating the unique strengths and talents of every child. In addition, extracurricular opportunities will be offered through clubs and sports.
I truly believe strong partnerships between school and home are essential to student success. I encourage you to stay connected, become involved, and communicate with us throughout the year. Whether you are volunteering, attending school events, joining the PTA, or simply staying engaged in your child's learning, your partnership makes a meaningful difference.

Sneak-a-Peek: August 24, 2026 at 12:00-1:00pm - Meet the teacher and drop off school supplies.
1st Day of School: Tuesday, August 25, 2026 at 8:15am - 2:45pm
Back to School Night: September 9th 6-7:30pm for 3rd-5th; September 10th 6-7:30pm for PreK-2
