Welcome Principal Dorsey!

We are pleased to introduce Ms. Latasha Dorsey as the newly appointed Principal of Greenbelt Elementary School for the 2026-2027 school. 

Ms. Dorsey brings several years of administrative experience and has demonstrated a strong commitment to academic excellence, instructional leadership, and building positive school communities. Throughout her career, she has successfully supported teaching and learning, developed strong relationships with staff and families, and worked collaboratively to ensure all students have access to high-quality educational experiences. We know that Greenbelt Elementary is a special place with established traditions, a dedicated staff, and a vibrant student body. Ms. Dorsey is fully prepared to continue the incredible work already set forth at Greenbelt Elementary School. 

A cornerstone of Ms. Dorsey’s leadership is her unwavering commitment to community. She firmly believes that a school is at its strongest when it collaborates closely with educators, families, and local partners. I am confident that you will find her approachable, collaborative, and entirely dedicated to the success and well-being of all students.
