    The PGCPS Department of Testing is announcing the administration of Fall Bridge testing for multiple subjects at most grade levels.  Please read the letter below for this announcement.  More details will be shared in the coming days as we learn more about the detailed plan and how it will impact students.


    Parent Centers Available – Days/Times: Mondays and Wednesdays, 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Parents may call 240-696-3315 during these hours to receive live assistance starting August 31, 2020.

    Parent Distance Learning Hotline – Starting August 31, 2020, parents/guardians can call 240-696-6229 on Monday – Friday from 9 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. for live assistance for technical/equipment issues and/or instructional guidance and support


    Meal Service — Effective September 2, meal pickup and delivery will be free for all students through December 31. Meals will also be delivered to many communities by school bus on Mondays and Wednesdays between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. More information and a list of delivery locations by city here.     Free and Reduced-Price Meals Applications — Families with students who receive school meals through our Free and Reduced-Price Meals program must reapply at the beginning of each school year to remain eligible. Apply now!


    On Wednesdays for the duration of remote learning, PGCPS will implement a Modified Schedule that will feature a shortened instructional schedule for the day and small group rotating instruction.  
    At DDEMS, we will follow Schedule 2 on Wednesdays.  Half of the students will attend their virtual classes with their teachers in small groups. The other half will complete an independent assignment on this day.  All students will be marked absent on this day in SchoolMax, but every student who attends a small group or submits their independent assignment will be marked excused from that class so the absence will not penalize them.
    This is the Wednesday rotation schedule for the month of September.  Please refer to the Eisenhower Events calendar on this page for the continued rotation schedule for students beyond September.

    • Access the Middle School Intervention and Enrichment Program
      Prince George’s County Public Schools is offering an exciting Middle School Intervention and Enrichment Program for ALL 6th, 7th and 8th grade students to conclude the school year 2019-2020. Edgenuity’s MyPath platform offers an innovative program, which will assist students with enhancing performance in Reading/Language Arts and Mathematics as they move to the next grade level.
    • Distance Learning Begins Tuesday, April 14

      In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, online instruction for students will begin Tuesday, April 14. Although daily learning will not be equivalent to a six-hour day, key aspects of the classroom experience will be maintained: collaboration with peers, daily lessons and experimentation with individualized and innovative techniques.       Distance Learning Portal

    • Student Meal Pickups Now Twice Weekly
      "Grab and Go” meals can now be picked up in fewer visits. Meal pick-up will occur twice a week between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.and students can get meals for two days on Mondays and three days on Wednesdays. There will be no meal service on Monday, April 13 due to spring break. Service will resume Tuesday, April 14 with one meal; three meals will be available on Wednesday, April 15. Parents may pick up meals for students who are unable to come to the site by showing a student ID or report card. Parents and guardians are not required to accompany students nor are students required to show ID. View meal sites.
    • Drive Up Wi-Fi at Select Schools
      Need Internet access for your child to complete schoolwork or homework? Drive-up wifi access points at several schools will be available starting Tuesday, April 14 for anyone with a PGCPS email account to log on from the school parking lot or within close proximity to the school.

    • Free Home Internet Access Available
      Families new to Comcast Internet Essentials may be eligible for two months of free Internet service if they live in an area where the service is available, qualify for public assistance and have not subscribed to Comcast Internet within the last 90 days. Apply online or call 1-855-8-INTERNET (1-855-846-8376). 
    • Resetting Student Passwords

      Parents and guardians may request a new username and password for students who have forgotten their PGCPS email log-in info. Email with student name, ID number, birth date, school and grade level to request new log-in credentials.

    • Plug-in 24-7 Digital Library
      The Prince George's County Memorial Library System (PGCMLS) is available 24/7 online with PGCMLS Digital SuiteCreative Suite, and more than 85 online resources including eBooks, audiobooks, music, movies, TV, and educational resources. Students have access to PGCMLS resources using their 9-digit student ID number.
