School Hours

School begins promptly at 9:30am and ends at 3:40 pm.  Students are considered late after 9:30 am. Remember, in order to receive the full benefit of the instructional program at Baden Elementary School, it is important to be present and on time every day. For the safety of our students, children are not permitted to arrive at school before 9:10am.  If you bring your child to school before 9:10am, you must remain present with them until the main doors open.

Morning Routine/Drop-offs

If you are dropping off at the main entrance door, please do not park in, drop-off, or block our bus loop between 8:45 am-9:30 am. We need to ensure that our buses can arrive safely and on time each day. This means, you must utilize the Baden Community Center parking lot for student drop-offs. Students will enter through the main entrance of the school building by walking down the sidewalk from the parking lot. Your cooperation is appreciated!

Early Pick-ups

In order to ensure the safety of our students, children who are being picked up for early dismissal must be signed out each day. We check I.D. and match students according to those individuals listed on the emergency card or through a written note only. Students will not be permitted to be signed out for early dismissal after 3:10pm. If you need to make changes to your child’s emergency form, please complete the form here

After School Dismissal

Please do not park in or block our bus loop after 3pm. We ask that you utilize the Baden Community Center  parking lot for student pick-up. Please remain in your car and follow the flow of the student pick-up line. Your cooperation with our dismissal procedure allows a smooth transition at this busy time of the day.

Changes in How Your Child Goes Home

If your child is scheduled for afternoon bus transportation, you must email the school before 12 noon to let us know about any changes to your child's transportation arrangements, such as adding them to the Car Rider list. For safety concerns, we will not be able to accept verbal permission or changes in dismissal arrangements over the phone.

If your child does not yet have a bus route, you must notify the school through email before 12 noon that your child will be a Car Rider until transportation is established. Your attention to this is greatly appreciated.
