Principal's Letter to Glenn Dale Families

Greetings Glenn Dale Families,

I want to welcome our students and families to Glenn Dale Elementary School. Together we must continue to build upon our academic program as well as our school culture and climate. We will work hard to ensure your child is provided a strong robust instructional program and continue to include social-emotional learning opportunities for all students. I am confident our year will be filled with many great adventures and academic learning activities to enrich our school climate and provide your students with challenging and engaging opportunities that will positively impact student achievement. I will continue to work diligently to ensure all of your children have the best possible experiences and education while at Glenn Dale Elementary.

We look forward to collaborating with our families to ensure the success of every child. I am committed to the partnership with the parents and community that thrives on transparency and dedication. It is extremely important to me to be visible and accessible to students, family and community members. I believe that when strong partnerships between home and school are created, students excel and success in school. I hope that each parent and teacher will consider joining our PTA so that we can make our students and ourselves #PGCPS PROUD. It is only with the help of parents and teachers that the good news of all that is happening at Glenn Dale Elementary School can be shared.

The staff at Glenn Dale has an unwavering commitment to being the best partner to our families in support of our students. It is imperative that we continue to create a strong relationship between home and school. Through dedication and partnership, we can ensure academic success to each scholar. As partners in education, I value open communication and I am eager to hear from you about what matters to you about your student’s success at Glenn Dale Elementary School. Through our combined efforts we can build a network to support our students. I strongly believe that parental involvement is an essential component to scholar success.
