Dear Parent(s) and Guardian(s),

Welcome to the 2023–2024 school year at Rosaryville Elementary School. Our Rosaryville team extends warm greetings to our newest and returning members of our school community. We are enthusiastically preparing to welcome approximately 480 scholars back to school on Monday, August 28th, in grades pre-k through fifth.

The Rosaryville staff is rejuvenated and ready to embark upon an exciting journey that celebrates the uniqueness and individuality of every scholar. We invite the Rosaryville Elementary School community to join us in our commitment to "Dare to be Different". Under this charge, the Rosaryville staff enters this journey embracing the spirit of innovation, creativity, inclusion, and courage. We are committed to challenging ourselves to think outside the box, to explore engaging research-based teaching methods, and to cultivate a learning environment where diversity of thought and expression are celebrated. Similarly, we will challenge our scholars to share their ideas boldly, to express their creativity fearlessly, and to view differences as strengths.

As I enter my eleventh year as the Proud Principal of Rosaryville Elementary School, I have the distinct honor of partnering in our charge with two dynamic administrators. Mr. Anton Davis will continue to serve as Assistant Principal. Please a view his welcoming message to our community. Additionally, Dr. Torrie Ford will continue to serve as the Autism Program Coordinator for our Elementary Autism Program, which serves approximately 85 scholars. We thank you for entrusting us with your children’s education. Our administrative team and our dynamic educators look forward to a year of innovation, creativity, inclusion, and courage as we dare to be different together.

Sincerely,

Rashida Edwards, M.T., M.Ed.,

Principal
