The decision to close schools is always made with safety as our top priority. PGCPS is committed to timely communication, and will provide daily updates to staff and families by 5 p.m. throughout the weather event.

From August 6 through September 27, Prince George’s County Public Schools is partnering with the County Health Department to offer free mobile vaccine clinics for K–12 students. These back-to-school clinics are open to uninsured and underinsured PGCPS families to help ensure compliance with Maryland immunization requirements. Appointments are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Select weekend events will include special guests, giveaways and more. Limited walk-ins will be accepted based on space availability.
