Dear Parent/Guardian:
Welcome to the 2023 - 2024 school year! I hope your summer has been safe, exciting, and rewarding while you found plenty of time to relax, rejuvenate, and spend quality time with your family. We are very excited to have you and your children as part of the Panorama Elementary family. The entire staff has been working very hard to prepare for a wonderful school year. We have set very high expectations and made plans to ensure that every scholar at Panorama ES can be successful this school year. We have several new staff members who will be joining us this year. We look forward to welcoming all of our new and returning staff, parents, and students!
Students’ academic success is the main goal of every staff member at Panorama Elementary School. We believe that every scholar will learn to their highest level and we are prepared to offer more time and support to every student that needs it. I ask for your support and participation in this effort by ensuring your child participates in their learning every day with a winning attitude and ready to learn, encouraging your child to read at least 30 minutes every day, monitoring your child’s homework, and asking your child to share what they learned each day. We ask that home and school be a collegial partnership that promotes academic and social excellence.
We are very excited about the start of the new school year. The first day of school for scholars is August 28, 2023. Student hours are 7:45 (Attendance and announcements) 7:45 a.m. – 1:55 p.m.
Our Welcome Back to School Carnival (orientation) for all students will be held on Friday, August 25, 2023, from 8:00- 2:00 pm (Additional information can be found on our school website). This session is designed to assist parents and students in becoming acquainted with their teacher and new classroom.
Please take the time to carefully review the attached information about the start of the school year. We will continue being Panorama ES STRONG …. Destined for Greatness. I look forward to an exciting School Year of teaching and learning as we continue our journey to Greatness. I am eager to see each of you at our Back to School Carnival, in a few days.
